At Manchester Arts and Trades Academy, we specialise in providing bespoke educational packages tailored for students with additional needs, focusing on vocational skills and preparation for work. We also offer Functional Skills and a range of programmes for engaging learners.

Paid work placements and apprenticeships

Students aged 16-18 have the opportunity to attain their CSCS cards and gain paid work experience with the support of one of our trained staff. This can lead to full-time employment upon completion.

Gain a recognised qualification

Students can work towards achieving a BTEC in Construction, acquiring skills in Bricklaying, Plastering, Joinery/Woodwork and Painting and Decorating

BTEC in Hair and Beauty

Students with an interest in entering the hair and beauty sector can train and become qualified practitioners

Digital Art and Graphic Design

Students also have the opportunity to acquire skills in digital art and graphics, including 3D art and animation. Successful students can progress to higher education or receive support in securing work in this sector.

Gain a recognised qualification

Attain Level 1, 2 and 3 diplomas in Art and Design. Students can explore crafts, ceramics, painting and sketching along with a range of other skills.
